        First off is the wolf. A very fast creature who can catch up to you when running full speed. The wolf may be faster than the bear but it does less damage and takes more damage from weapons.


   

     Next is the bear and first of all is the black bear. It is known to have less health than the grizzly. You can tell by looking at the fur of the bear to find out which one is which.


     

         The grizzly bear has more health than the black bear, and its fur is a lot lighter.




       

       There are different types of loot bags and crates around the map and this is the common brown crate.

    This is the medic loot bag.

   This is one of the rock minerals you can pick with a pickax.

  Here is another version of the rock. This one is a lot more red and bright.

This is the common tree, It gives three pieces of wood. The bigger trees give four pieces of wood.

  This is the fiber plant used for crafting and building things in the inventory.





Overall all these things are useful and can benefit your chance of survival. If you have a better understanding of each materiel and what it does, you will survive much longer.

What is a persons basic needs of life?

   A persons basic needs in life are food, water, shelter and oxygen.


What is the definition of the title of the game?

 Subsistence- Maintaining or supporting ones self at a maximum level.


A brief description of the game- The game is a survival game with many dangers surrounding you while you try and stay alive. The player must gather, build and fight to stay alive and must always be on his guard.

What type of game is it and what does it compare to?

 It is a survival game and reminds me of Minecraft because of the wood chopping and constant dangers.



What does it mean to be early access?

 Customers can pre pay for a game that is not even finished yet.




What are a few features of the game?

 You can run, jump, crouch and fight with weapons. the waving grass and also the mountains in the distance are good graphic features.

                                            Three keyboard shortcuts and what they do!

               1. S - Stops the animation

               2. C - Set color of selected figure

               3. P - Play animation



                                        The reason the soccer ball image didn't load as a sprite is because it was a "jpg" image.

                                        If you choose yes on the warning pop up it will set your image to the certain size that is small enough to fit in it.

                                        If you choose no your image will go whatever size you set it at and will overlap the sides if its too big.

                                                        What I Did This Week  


            This week I got my first look and experience with IT. In the first class we got our blogs setup and downloaded a data saving app known as Dropbox. We made our avatar pictures, (which we saved in Dropbox) and then sent them to our blog on Blog spot. In the beginning of the class we also made our first post.

First Post - First post was our first IT assignment! We learned how to set up new posts and color them. The way we colored the background was using a code called 'div'. You have to set it up a certain way just to get the picture color just right. Next we learned how to add pictures to our posts. The pictures which we got off google images, were saved in our Dropbox then in the new post setting, were sent on to our post itself. The questions that were asked was, What are 1 or 2 things that the school is doing well. The second question was what are 1 or 2 things the school needs to look at. That was our first post assignment.

Predicted Grade- For this assignment we needed to put what grade we predicted to get in this course. I got more experience with using the background color technique and my picture adding got better. We had to add two numbers with a percentage sign, and a letter for a grade. The trick was all of the pictures had to be animated. To animate the pictures you get them the same way you would regular pictures, except you would search for animated ones. That was our Predicted Grade assignment.


What I Want To Learn In IT- For this assignment we had to post two things that we want to learn in IT. In this one we learned how to make links. to make a link you have to copy the link address of a certain website then copy and paste it into the link address setting. Then name and it and post it where ever you liked. I posted two pictures along with two links and text on mine. That was our What i wan to learn in IT assignment.


Groundhog Day-  In this assignment we had to draw a picture using the doodle note app. Then we had to answer all of these groundhog day questions. In the drawn picture I had to put my blog address and name it in the picture! I did that just by double clicking on it and copying my blog address to it. The cool thing I learned in this assignment was how to get pictures as a background. To do this I had to copy the pictures link address then paste it the new post HTML. That was the Groundhog day assignment.

          How to create a link on your Blog. - To create a link on your blog you need a URL of a certain link/website. You then copy that link and go into your new post. Once you are there select link on the top of the screen, then paste the URL and name it. Once you do that you can name it whatever you feel like then put it on your blog.

         How to add Blog post backgrounds and color backgrounds- To do this you must go on the website with all the colors which the teacher shows you. Choose a color, then once you have your color go onto the teachers page and copy his color background link. Go into your new post HTML and post the link at the top of the screen, Delete some of it in the middle and then put your color link. Then one have done that DO NOT forget to put 'div, at the bottom. To add picture backgrounds go on google and choose an image you want. Once you have the image you want copy the URL and go back to your blog. Go to your new post HTML and post the link at the top of the blog. Just like the color background you must put 'div, at the bottom or wherever you want the color or picture to end.

       How to get animated Gifs- Go onto google copy the link then save it to your Dropbox. Once its there go onto new post and select the little picture image at the top. You then choose your image/gif and put it into your blog.

          Ground Hog Day is said to be a traditional holiday that was originated in the United States. Ground Hog day is celebrated on February 2. It is said that if it is cloudy the day the groundhog emerges, then it will be an early spring. If it happens to be sunny when the groundhog emerges, then the groundhog will see its shadow and winter will last longer.   

              Punxsutawney is a groundhog who may or may not see his own shadow. According to some sort of groundhog club, Punxsutawney would speak to the club leader in 'Groundhogese'. After the club president hears him he translates it for the entire world. His prediction for this year is a long winter. 

               Wiarton Willie was a Canadian Groundhog from Ontario. Every Groundhog day Wiarton Willie would take place in the Wiarton Willie festival. Wiarton willies prediction for this year is an Early spring.   

              

            

What i want to learn in IT

I would like to learn how to do more things with photo shop. I want to know how to change the look of certain images and add/manipulate certain images.

Another thing I wouldn't mind learning in IT is how to handle different Microsoft software's. To have a better understanding of apps like Microsoft word and Power Point.

 1. Please share one or two things that is going well, that we need to keep supporting as a school - -what is good?- 

I am new to the school, but what i realized in my brief period of time being here is that the sports programs are important and entertaining. I seen all the rewards in the hall and it looks like this school is very involved in their sports. I myself would like to join one of the sports teams in the future and would therefor like to see the school continue to supports the sports programs.

2. Please share one or two things that you think we need to look at as a school.  - what is missing? - 

Iv only been here for two days but from what i can see, the lunch hour needs to be more time in my opinion. Do not get me wrong it is enough time to eat its just some other kids want to play ball in the gym or hangout. My old school had 20 more minutes of lunch time and it was enough i felt like. Maybe in the future the school will think about extending the lunch time.
